We firmly believe that it takes a village to raise a child and Tarwater is definitely our village. PTO is here to create a community for the families of those children attending our school and one defining characteristic about our school is great parent involvement. We take great pride in what we strive to achieve here at Tarwater by always being a support system for our teachers. Tarwater is the best school because of our TEACHERS and, therefore, the PTO is always here to support them. If there is anything we can ever do for you, please don't hesitate to stop a PTO member and ask! These are OUR kids and our future leaders. Please let us know how we can serve our children better!

What is Dads Club?
We provide handyman services to the teachers, to create a better environment and a better experience for our kids.
Like What?
- Small construction projects, cleaning and painting, creative solutions, and repairs.
- Basic carpentry, craft, and handiwork skills are appreciated, but not required.
- Any professional expertise is welcome too.
In the past, we have:
- Built / Assembled Cabinets and Shelves for Teachers.
- Painted Activities in the Playgrounds.
- Hosted Darling Daughter Dances each Spring.
- Hosted Fall Movie Nights.
So, how much time is this gonna take?
- We will try to meet once a month, and coincidentally there are usually sports and refreshments available.
- We will need several people to help sell pizza and soda at the fall festival, on Friday, October 28th, and do legwork beforehand for donations, etc.
- We will do a few projects throughout the year... maybe asking for a few hours, on two or three Saturdays. That’s it!
- If you can attend a few meetings, or help out just once, every little bit helps!
